It all started in a small city half way between Chicago and Detroit. We operate from a 100 year old (center part of it anyway) paper mill that has been made into a very unique community of small business start-ups, artists studios, and a whole lot of others things going on, this, we call the PARK TRADES CENTER.  We (Hall Marketing Group - CoolLampsNStuff) are a drop ship company so we do not keep inventory on hand, but our suppliers are just a minute away by phone.  We have been in business since the fall of 2004 and plan on staying around for the long haul. 

We, consisting of two (2) of us, both of whom work on this site (as well as the other sites coming!), uploading new products, performing updates, and filling orders. 

I have been a Tailor by trade for many years, owning my own leather shop for 14 years and then a little ole tailor shop for another 14 years. I decided that I needed to do something different, and the internet caught my curiosity. Hmmm, why couldn't I learn how to make money on the net, I said to myself...“there are so many others doing this, why not me?" And that’s when it began. I had sewn a lot of home décor accessory items, such as slipcovers, window treatments, covers for lamps, and lots of small re-upholstery projects etc. I love homes and décor’ and figured doing a site around that would be right up my alley (no sewing involved here, just lots of other stuff!). This is where I link the two dreams together. Okay, you’re getting the picture now.

The second, of the two of us, is a very talented and "whiz of sorts" on the computer, young man, barely 20 years old, who is very organized, knows much already, and is always ready to learn. I need him to do the spreadsheets that upload all the products and keep me organized, along with a multitude of other business aspects!  Thank you God for sending this person to me!   

We are doing everything within this will of ours to get this web site filled up with wonderful lighting options and a few other décor products.  We want you to shop and be happy!  You will find a little of everything here, but mostly modern and contemporary offerings. Our wish is to cover most areas of home décor design between this site and two others that are in the works, along with linking to other relevent sites, giving >>>YOU<<< the customer, many options to choose from. Plus, I would buy these things, so I figured you would too!
